Today we honor the poet, novelist, playwright, art critic, journalist, memoirist, essayist, and environmentalist, André Salmon, on the 57th anniversary of his passing. His contribution to the arts remains his best-known legacy, while his poetry and novels continue to inspire literary scholars.
