53rd Anniversary of Salmon's Death - March 12, 1969

Today we mark the 53rd anniversary of André Salmon's passing on March 12, 1969 at his home in Sanary-sur-Mer

To honor his memory, we are pleased to announce two forthcoming publications by our esteemed leader Jacqueline Gojard:

1. André Salmon et Guillaume Apollinaire/Correspondance témoignages divers. edited and annotated by Jacqueline Gojard. Editions Claire Paulhan, Paris, 2022, 446 pages, including numerous illustrations, most published for the first time here. 

2.  Pablo Picasso, André Salmon and "Young French Painting" (Za Mir Press, 2022). An introduction to Young French Painting (La Jeune Peinture française) by Jacqueline Gojard, with a revised English translation of Salmon's book originally published in 1912. Co-translators Beth Gersh-Nesic and Jacqueline Gojard clarify the text with copious annotations.
